Donating blood is one of those things I can do that makes a significant difference to someone. So I do it.

But I always forget that it makes me dizzy and weak, and apparently a bit stupid, too, because I always want to sleep afterwards without eating.

Then the next day I'm depressed (and the world is a sad place) because not only does my body hate me for having given away a pint of blood, but my blood sugar is low. I HAVE to remember to do better. Next time, a Plan.

ETA -- I took the day off and had some sleep and more water and food. I don't feel so horrible anymore. Yay!

Hey gang,

Man, being in a bummed mood means I have to have happy extra-hummable music my head. What're your hummable happies?
