There was a gathering in a common room, perhaps based around chocolate, perhaps not. I announced my plan to ascend Stone Hill because I'd heard of it and never been, and asked the room of ostensibly eager excitable people which of them would join me for my adventure. Everyone said they'd rather continue sitting, which irked me, but then you offered to join me.
Meeting you at Redbones for my 20-somethingth (22nd? 23rd?) birthday shindig. You were practically radiating happiness. It was a beautiful thing to see, and was a wonderful addition to the evening.
You throwing ice down my shirt my freshman year in Baxter, which alas is also gone. And how Dan Bahls though we were nuts, but it was so hot, and we didn't care. Or singing camp songs on the subway at 10 o'clock at night, headed to what turned out to be a crappy kareoke bar. Not the good one with Carl. The one with too much smoke & overpriced drinks and people dancing drunkenly on the table. Or you me & Cath in your room, talking about guys and foreign langueges and stuffed animals. And probably sex.
