It's alive!
Mar. 12th, 2007 05:17 pmQ: What does it take to make Kim return to the net and stop fretting/running about?
A: The flu.
But, in cheerier news, being under the weather means I get a chance to actually update.
Most recent news: I've decided to go on the Atkins diet. I am grossly overweight and want to lose some of this in time for September, when the renewal wedding thing is. Yikes -- it's *hard*. You find yourself staring longingly at bread, juice, and fruit.
* * * *
On a more apologetic note, I want it essentially explained why it is that I barely am on the computer or returning email:
In short, it's because I go to school and hold down 2 part time jobs and by the time I'm home and getting together dinner with Neil, I'm deathly tired. My day starts at either 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM in order to get to the gym and then class on time, I have a short break during a four hour class to grab something to eat (which I need, even if I've had breakfast, because I don't want to faint during a hands on class EVER again), and then, when class is over, I go to job #1 (typing), then job #2, tutoring for 2-3 hours. The tutoring actually helps me study later on, but it means that my day isn't done until 7 PM, at which point, I want dinner and to curl up with Neil.
With all of the work in my day, it's actually been tricky trying to keep my spirits up; I know I was feeling fairly depressed this past week, trying to figure out something to look forward to. You *have* to have at least some grace notes in your day, or you go crazy. So my grace notes have generally been in the form of good meals with Neil. But good meals take time to prepare, or time to set aside to go out, and so... things have been quiet.
Sorry, guys :( I've neglected this journal so much that I didn't realize a few people had friended me at all. Oops.
Next (friends-locked) post will have more substantive comment; if you want to be added to my f-list, poke me.
