Along the lines of malinalda's post...
Sep. 30th, 2007 11:36 am... Things that are silly include me. I mean, normal people, when they get an email from a family friend saying "I'd like to hire you for a massage," don't panic. I got training for this. I'm competent. But I'm nervous anyway. I need to find one of those hourly rental places -- the places that charge you $25 an hour, so that you can give a massage in a decent space that isn't your own apartment (which is a mess, and is always crowded). I need to come up with business cards.
And Neil is gone for a conference, and somehow that not only makes me sad, but more panicky.

The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well.

Date: 2007-09-30 07:51 pm (UTC)I don't remember my mom ever dealing with hourly rental places - she had her own table so usually she either took it with her to peoples' houses or set aside a space in our house that was specifically for massage. Good luck with business cards and the whole deal!
