Knife help?

Earlier today, I discovered that the knives in the kitchen no longer have an edge. Does anyone know of a professional scissor/knife grinder-type person in New York who I can go to get them sharpened? Suz, Stacy, *someone* who uses decent knives?

sure -- Chelsea market has someone on site Wednesday afternoons. starting around noon, I think, till at least 3ish. they work in the back right outside the kitche supply shop.

I usually use the knife sharpener on the back of the can opener. Dunno anyone in NYC who sharpens knives. Ask the people above.
