Stress relief and babble
Feb. 16th, 2007 06:37 pmI love learning about common pathologies so much -- we learn so much interesting and useful stuff! And usually, we laugh while we're doing it. It's a pretty good life.
Anyway, ideas from class...
We store a lot of stress in our jaw. If you notice yourself stressing out, drop your jaw. Your shoulders will relax, and your spine might get less tense.
We also store tension in our faces. Pulling on your ears feels nice and stretches some of those facial muscles.
Calcium stuff -- 1) preventing calcium loss is better than intaking more calcium for osteoperoses (and stop eating so much meat - most americans eat 2 to 3 times their daily allowance - and stop drinking so much alcohol) 2) did you know that most seaweed has like 7 times the calcium that milk does? dark green veggies are supposed to be good for you, too.
argh, more later.
