Getting older

Neil and I joke about what it was like to be 18 -- up until college, I never got headaches. This week, it's been a run of tension headaches, stomach illness, a nasty drippy sore throat, and generally, my body getting creaky. The thing is, though, I think I'm just old enough to be able to appreciate the fact that it'll get worse later, and love the fact that I can push myself as much as I do. This upcoming week is another InDesign quick jobbie that'll eat up all my time but also help a bunch with rent, so I know I'm pushing forward in a way that, say, a 40-year old wouldn't... and oddly enough, I'm sort of grateful, icky-feelingness aside.
