In Greece, where I spent a month of my senior year, I used to have yogurt and cucumbers and fruit and all sorts of yummies for breakfast. Sadly, when I got back to America, I discovered that our yogurt is thin, over-sugared, and lacking the creamy robustness that all greek yogurt has. That was the end of my yogurt career for a while.

But! today I have found that adding a dollop of sour cream to yogurt makes it taste significantly creamier and fuller, diluting out the nasty sugar. When I pour in a generous handful of strawberries, it... well, it's still not Greek yogurt, but it's much better.

You know that song, "I get by with a little help from my friends"? I think I actually got by today without really needing much help from anyone :) YEAH!

After spending more money than I have on a class at Pace, I went and bought m'self a CD player with MP3 capability, and it rawked. Despite embarassing ellipticals accident yesterday (which you haven't heard the details of: I was attempting to read a book, twisted accidentally, the track fell off the machine, and I slammed into someone else & their machine, managing to bruise my finger in the crunch), I managed to extend my workout time 15 minutes while I was listening to the soundtrack of RENT.

Music rules. Musicals, that have a story, can only be even better. Tomorrow, the second CD of Rent; then Aida, then Evita, then Les Miz. I wish I had the Avenue Q soundtrack. Anyone else have spiffaric soundtrack ideas? :D I plan to beg, borrow and steal whatever music I can from friends.

On another note, I managed to make a really, really yummy stirfried beef with broccoli for dinner tonight. Tomorrow, the world. Kidding. Anyone have recipes I should be trying?
