We had our first CPR/First Aid class today, and as we practiced doing CPR on a dummy, which was put on a table, it became clear pretty quickly that I was Far Too Short. I couldn't get enough leverage to compress the chest enough, so the dummy had to be moved to the floor.

I suppose that means I should pray that if anyone ever collapses dead in front of me that they have the decency to do it on the floor. [My CPR instructor was giggling so hard I thought he might have to be my test dummy.]

Well... I think most people tend to collapse on the floor. Maybe in a chair, in which case they'd need to be moved to the floor for CPR anyway.

So I wouldn't imagine it's too big of a handicap.

W00t :D Fortunately, I also hope I'll never have to try to resucitate someone; a heart attack is the worst case scenario, and eek! that would be bad.

I concur ... collapses not on floors/ground are kind of unlikely ...

Or perhaps you should carry around a first-aid kit that includes a pair of platform shoes. :-)
