Ow

This is sorta funny, in an ow sort of way.

Last month, I fell down the stairs, bruising all sorts of body parts. (Fellow massage students were amused, but concerned.) Yesterday, I had an argument with Neil and showed up in class looking like someone shot my dog. (Fellow massage students all gave consoling comments.) Today, I woke up with the corner of my eye hurting as if a flailing elbow in Neil's sleep caught it. It'll be a black eye in a day or so.

People are totally gonna be wondering if I get beat up regularly by my totally-afraid-of-violence, cuddly-hearted 6'1" boyfriend. Oy.

Nah. Your black eye was from a fight at a bar. They won't worry as much about you when you tell them what you did to that guy!
