Man oh man
Oct. 21st, 2005 11:04 amI had the contrast on my monitor, not to mention the brightness and color, turned up FAR too high. This means that all of the photos I edited before had screwed up colors when I posted them -- not to mention the fact that any photos I saw had distortions.
So I recalibrated my monitor, and now it's all better, and I spent the better part of today fixing all of the stupid editing mistakes, with the washed out color :( Let's try that again, shall we? Links:
Manhattan
Saint Louis
Saint Louis Botanic Garden
Matt's cats
Westchester
Macro & random arizona shots
If you notice a photo that's badly faded or something, I probably missed it -- please let me know.
EDIT: I figured out when this monitor BS happned. When they fixed my computer.
EDIT2: I'm going to leave one sample to show the difference between washed out color and color when kim knows how to tweak curves on a properly calibrated monitor: http://www.irrationalist.net/kim/look/albums/display.php?album=manhattan&photo=coupleserenesunset.jpg
