A month ago, Graeme and I saw this fantabulous sunset. But I got busy and depressed, and never had a chance to post it. I wryly told Graeme that sunsets are really cheesy photographic subjects, but I still like this one rather a lot, and hope you do too.

Yeah, it really was -- especially with the crisp autumn air and, as Kim pointed out, the color gradient in the water (from fiery orange to dull metallic gray). And the fact that it was only this dramatic for a few amazing minutes.

Cheesy, on some level, yes... but I LOVE clouds, and I LOVE water, and a picture of both that looks this good? Excellent! =)
